Buffalo Chip Amphitheater
placed at the base of this cast concrete biker chick inside the amphitheater at the Buffalo Chip. What
better place to memorialize Julia Lynn and Susie Avila than here. Well we went ahead and ordered a
granite plaque. It will be carved in the next few months and set in place at the base of this huge
statue. What a great place to leave a permanent memorial to the two women whose lives we have
shared during our yearlong tour with our visitors and fans. We will publish a special editiion page of
our website to a ceremony dedicating the plaque when it is set. In the meantime, you can stay tuned
and keep up with the progress of the plaque.
After a lengthy nap I was re-energized. And I needed it. Ted Nugent and Joe Walsh were two great
acts. Nugent's amps were up to 11, blasting eardrums at the back of the amphitheater. Donations
continued to pour in, making this the second best day of our stay at The Chip.
Late in the evening we met Rupert, America's favorite Survivor. What a genuinely nice man. And
when you think about it, he has dedicated his life and is using his fame as winner of Survivor
Guatemala, Season Three, to help wayward kids. Visit his site at www.rupertskids.org. Tomorrow we
